Written on a young reader level this is none the less a fun romp with aliens who visit earth and end up staying in a family's spare bedroom.

DeChancie turns his skewed vision to a modern family - mother and live-in boyfriend and three kids. Told from the viewpoint of the middle boy it's entertaining but not as much fun as his castle books.
