This is the most beautifully & sensitively written novel I have read about loss, grief & restoration to life again. The reader literally walks through all the emotions with the main character--Leah: shock at the death, unspeakable grief, anger, parents that try to control, making a new life for herself, opening herself up to caring about others again & finally facing God with the need to forgive. When I finished the book, I felt like I really knew this woman & what she had been through. If you know any friend who has lost a child or a husband or both, this book will give you a wonderful understanding & insight into their struggles to overcome the death of a loved one.
