Is it just me?? Everytime I have come to the site today i have had to log in. I checked the "2 weeks" box, but it isn't holding!!

I mean, I won't die from logging in over and over, but it sucks!

Are you logging in on the same computer in the same browser every time?  If I switch to as different computer(from my laptop to my desktop) or browser (from Safari to Firefox), I have to log in again.  Then if I go back to the first one again, then once more I need to log in.  Does that make sense?

It does make sense, but I only have one computer and I only use one browser. *sigh* I guess it is just me, then.

Do you delete your cookies and temporary files in between uses (i.e. "cleaning up" your computer)?

It's been going on with me for the last month. I don't even log out. I just refresh the page after 20 mins and it says logging in and then brings the page back up. I assumed it was happening to every one.

No cookie deletions.

It is just aggravating and time consuming.

The logging in this is annoying me too, if I leave the page open and go do something everytime I come back and click a link it relogs me in.

Ever since PBS updated their web site I've had trouble signing in. Sometimes it takes 5 to 10 minutes just to log in.

It happens to me too.  I assumed it was everyone.

I'm not sure how long it takes before I have to log in again, but it's far from 2 weeks....it's many times a day.

My "security software" (antivirus/firewall/antispyware...) program had updated itself and apparently reset my settings to the default--which erased all my cookies for me everytime I shut down. I had to go locate the part of the software that was causing it and tell it to cut it out! (Anything like that possible?)

I am not having to keep logging in.

I don't have to enter my login info (it's stored in a cookie), but I am taken to the login page and I have to click "Login" every now and then.

I have heard IE 6 users have trouble with login more than IE 7.  At least, I know of a member who had all kinds of trouble using IE 6 and she upgraded to IE 7 and no problems since.  I use Ffx and don't have an issue.
