The book starts with the earliest rules and tables dating to the 18th century and traces all of the known makers of log rules right up into the 1980s. The details put forth in this book are not available in any other single source. And as if the text was not enough, the book is full of dozen of historical photos, rule close up photos, as well as how it was done detail shots. A very limited printing this book will be sold out and its own collectors item before we know it.
