I actually sought this book out because the hero & heroine appear as a married couple with several children in a later Joan Wolf book, "A Double Deception", and they really caught my interest. Jane is a delight, and Wolf is very good writer. She always comes up with original plots and characters, even within the limitations of traditional Regencies.

This is a classic that many readers who love this author are trying to find. I found it thoroughly engaging as all her books are. While not quite as good as my favorite by Wolf, HIS LORDSHIP'S MISTRESS, it it nevertheless a wonderful romance.
