I am currently reading the Mageworld series of books (I'm on #6 The Stars Asunder) and so far I have enjoyed them all tremendously. Their writing reminds me a lot of McMaster Bujold or Elizabeth Moon.
The Long Hunt is very good but I wish there had been more background story between By Honor Betray'd and this one. Somehow children were born and grew up but I can't believe it was done without some sort of outside Mage or Adept interference.
I love the series and hope they continue to produce more Mageworld books.
