A heartwarming memoir of the author growing up in a devout Catholic family. I really enjoyed it since it mirrored my growing- up years. The only thing that grated on my nerves was that the author pronounced the word â aâ as â ayâ and not â uhâ. I don't think this is a Michigan thing since I've lived in Michigan over 20 yrs and never heard anyone say it that way. It was just really annoyingâ¦.
The only flaw in this audio book is that the author's voice was not appealing. If an actor were to be employed as a narrator, it would be at the top of my favorites.
