As usual Ann Rule's book was very good. She had several stories, all true. I have read all of her books and this was up to her usual standards. If you like this genre I am sure that you will like this book

All the stories in this book were fascinating. They dealt with cold cases that were solved many years later. Good read!!!
This one of the books that keeps you on the edge of your seat. You keep wanting to read more.

Ann Rule is back with another collection of shorter length stories of murder and mayhem. In this outing, she details the murder of a father, which in turn uncovers another murder when the investigators take up the cause. There is also the sad story of an unresolved murder of a young mother that is detailed herein. Enjoyable as always for true crime or Ann Rule fans, or both.

Rule's true-crime stories are always interesting. She loses points here for writing scenes between killer and victim as though she was an eye-witness, and for not specifying "according to so-and-so", or "based on the forensic evidence".

what's not to like about ann rule books? she writes a more involved true crimes stories about the whole life story of both sides.i respect her writing because she never sets out to demean the victims or the killers. fair and open mind nothing preconceived. just a really engrossing, fast-paced true crime! love her books!
