I need help!!! I am trying to locate a book I read several years ago.  It is a historical romance, about a young girl and indian boy.  What I can remember of the story is... both are young and start out as friends.  They meet in the woods everyday and little by little the indian boy gains girls trust.  First with kiss on check then moves to lips etc.   Girl ends up pregnant so family sends her away, baby is given away, boy does not know about baby.  Boy and girl meet again years later and rekindle romance, and he eventually finds out about baby that was given away.  Does anyone have any idea about the title or author of this book?  thanks for the help

anyone have a guess as to who it might be???  The book would be published before 2000.  I thought it might have been by Cassie Edwards but I have search thru some of her books and have not found anything yet.
