Looking in the window Isn't everything it seems You see a perfect family But it's only in their dreams From the outside looking in They laugh and talk and share Love and live and breathe But you had better beware Nothing is what it seems And everything is falling apart Look closer in to the window And you'll see the broken hearts They walk around with smiles So you can't see what's inside Don't show their real feelings All because of pride They say that it's not true That everything's alright But what you do not know Is what happens in the night
