This is an excellent medieval genre representation with a hunky hero and an servant who becomes enslaved not by the bonds of that slavery, but by the bonds of desire and love.

Medieval romance, two female serfs are rescued from an abusive lord by a knight investigating subversive rebels. The women are immediately involved/implicated in the possible death of their previous lord. Has many strong characters, lots of logic, good plot, likeable heroes, and strong villains.
Very good medievel novel, especially the hero, Dante Risande.
