Reluctant witch, Cait, and her PI partner, Jason, are on a fairly mundane case trying to photograph a cheating wife with her boy toy. Following her into a seedy hotel the cheating wife disappears before their eyes in one moment then reappears to Cait as a ghost in the next. Suddenly Caits simple case of infidelity ties in with the local PDs case of murder. She and Jason are asked to help with another Full Moon Case with her sexy ex-husband and current boyfriend, Sam. She even finds herself seeking the help of her first love, Morin.

I love the characters that grace the pages of this series. They are so vivid, they have so much intensity and I have a feeling we havent even gotten to the heart of anyone, yet. I feel like there are still layers to unravel and I cant wait for each reveal.

Caits relationship with everyone in this series is sort of fragile. And now that she is sober and trying to embrace her true self and mend those ties with those that are crucial to her, I feel like things are going to get more interesting and exciting. Which considering these books are already at the top of my rating scale that says a lot.

The paranormal mystery in this book started off similar to the last book in that it was a Demon in a hotel room. But that is where the similarities start and end. It gets complex and creepy. I adore the witchcraft, the paranormal characters and aspects of these books. It only enhances everything.

This book was an emotional rollercoaster and I was crying at the end of it. Not the pretty little tears that silently fall down your cheeks, but the ugly uncontrollable ones followed by the gut wrenching sobs. I was truly moved.

This series is amazing so far. I am ever eager and anxious for more! Love, love, love Sam and Cait!
