I am an avid reader of dog books. I have taken care of difficult and sick dogs. This book is about a border collie whose epilesy is not discovered till 2 years old. The book read whiney to my ear. It focused on the bond she had with the dog and how you become the protector. The guilt after letting it go because the animal is in pain. I am finishing the book don't reoommend it. It is not a fun read.
