Excellent read. This one has a twist, the man and woman are bonded [married] and they add a man to their relationship. The man is a famous naturalist [and the son of another naturalist and a Tongan woman]. Emotional adjustments and social complications abound; with racial prejudices added to prejudices against nontraditional relationships. Each book however has done very different things with this concept.

Series is very sequential. Read in order if at all possible.

Quick and hot--very hot--read. Bare bones storyline, but the sex is a wild ride. Yahoo!

Actually not bad. A sex fest for sure, but if you expected anything less after five previous books you're in denial. I'll admit I skimmed some of the sexing but the story it self was different. Nat and Alecia have gone through so much, hurt each other so badly, yet forgave and moved on. I appreciated their connection and love for each other.

Palu (Anderson) adds some to their dynamic but I didn't think he was fleshed out as well as he could have. The instant lust I got, the insta love not as much. But the book had a nice ending and kept my interest overall so three solid stars.

This book is very short, but it's a keeper. It's an MMF story so if male/male action bothers you, don't get this story. Having said that, I thought despite the short length the author did a decent job with the complex emotions brought on by bringing a third into an existing relationship. You should Google the author when you have time. Her background is fascinating. She used to be a he. I guess that kind of background gives her good perspective on m/m/f relationships since she's experienced what it's like to be both genders.

Palu, the third that joins the husband and wife, was half-Tongan/half-English. He lived in England at a time when the English weren't receptive to people of mixed heritage. This story is pure fantasy because I can't see these three being open in aristocratic circles about their relationship, but if you ignore that historical inaccuracy, you might like the story.
