When he fiance broke their betrothal, southern belle Susannah Butler secretly relished her regained freedom. But Naval Lt. Terry Armstrong, a disturbingly handsome stranger, apparently believed a woman needed a man in times of war. Susannah was outraged by his offer of marriage-her honor didn't need protection, especially from a bold as brass Yankee! Yet Terry seemed to know her every innermost desire-and with his heated caress and conquering embrace he had no shame in making her feel like no other man had before!

Though dressed in Yankee blue, Terry Armstrong was a southerner to the core. And like all southern gentlemen, he had a fine appreciation for Southern spitfires, which was exactly what Miss Susannah Butler was. When he first met the bewitching beauty, she was running wild and free in Charleston. Though there was no denying her breathtaking charms, he was soon captivated by her reckless nature that ran as deep as his own. Here was a woman meant to be tamed and tame her he would-with passion drenched kisses that would enflame her body with a burning desire that could only e quenched by nights of sweet Southern loving!
