All I will say is this wasn't exactly what I was expecting from the title. This memoir is of the author's time at a Canadian Bed and Breakfast. Therein, he discovered several truths revealed to him by the chef, Roger Dufau, usually by using food as an example and a catalyst. It is a very personal look at the author's journal of his love life (or lack thereof). I guess I personally didn't care for the main character's treatment of the women he dated. I did however, enjoy the sayings from Roger Dufau. Also, I found that the author still seemed to make excuses for treating women badly.

I personally was disappointed in several parts in this book it feels much more like new-age spirituality and less like godly spiritual inspired by the Bible. Though, overall, most of the concepts were basically godly in nature. Overall, this book I give it 2.5 stars. Just not my cup of tea.
