Love as the earth
Surrounding the seed
Supporting,
Nourishing,
Feeding,
Expecting nothing in return.

Hope as the tree
Standing in the forest
Growing,
Stretching,
Dreaming,
For a Heaven it will never reach.

Trust as the leaf
Releasing from its home
Drifting,
Floating,
Falling,
but feeling no fear of the landing.

Lovely. I liked your personification of nature: the earth, the tree, the leaf and how you related these to love, hope and trust. Well-written.

Thanks I appreciate the comments. All of these are relatively old that I wrote for no one but me. It's little scary, not because of the fear of failure, but because I am showing my soul so to speak.
