I just got the sweetest e-mail back from Eloisa James, in reply to comments I sent about her book "Desperate Duchesses". I am always so impressed when authors take time out of their schedules to respond personally to e-mails, or to join in discussion groups. I have had contacts from Cheryl Holt, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Carolyn Jewel, Diana Palmer, Linnea Sinclair (she's even posted to this group before!) and many others that I cannot recall now. Has anyone else heard back from their favorite authors? Katrina |

I used to be a Diana palmer 'nut', but I dunno..i always felt like she play stuff to close to her chest..Even in those Chats at Writerspace she really never says anything that you feel you didn't already know... ANd her choices of heroes lately just completely disillusioned me ...:( |

SEP (Susan Elizabeth Phillips-my favorite!) has a message board on her website where she often posts. I always get excited when she responds to something I've said. |

I've only emailed authors twice (their books were just so good I had to go to the effort). They both replied and emailed me again later with more information and comments. Oh, they were Carla Kelly and Lisa Marie Rice. |

The only one I've written to is Lincoln Child of the Preston/Child books (not romance!) They post thier most scathing reviews on thier website, so I sent one I spotted on Amazon, and got a nice note back from Linc. |

Gennita Low is quite active on her yahoo group posts. Sherrilyn Kenyon has her messageboard and interacts a lot with the fans (and does Conventions...she's organizing her first one at the end of October!). |

Wow, I've never even thought about emailing an author. Guess I figured they wouldn't really be answering their own emails and stuff. Of course, it's really only since I found PBS that I've found an outlet to actually talk about the books I read with other people that've actually read them. |
