The review is lousy that is listed for this book! This was a good story and a nice addition to the Magical Love series. The heroine lives in 1888 florida with her magical cat,the hero is a stuffed shirt from back east. It was well written and fun to read how both characters had to learn to change their rather firm beliefs about life.
Isabel Gomez yearns to continue her mother's legacy of herbal healing--but to raise the necessary funds, she must sell her family's trading post. The buyer is a man of solid scientific convictions who has little tolerance for superstition and spells--and much to Isabel's dismay, he plans to turn the trading into a drugstore.
Although he scoffs at her magical brand of healing and is terrified of her orange-eyed black cat, he's soon captivated by Isabel's wacky witchy ways. And with the help of her cat and a touch of magic, Isabel shows him just how unexplained and unpredictable love is.
I thoroughly enjoyed this witty, lighthearted story....I read it in one night!
