The LowCarb Bible Author:Elizabeth M. Ward M.S. R.D. The Low Carb Bible reviews all of the popular Low Carb programs, which allows you to pick the option that best fits your needs. Including nearly 150 low carb recipes that prove that meals don't have to be boring.
This book is pretty good as a cookbook and carb gram counter. In the beginning of the book, it goes over low carb, but not in a real detailed way. It also reviews some of the popular low carb diets. If you're looking for an excellent, in-depth review of the low carb lifestyle and diets, check out Jonny Bowden's Living the Low Carb Life: From Atkins to The Zone.
A big collection of recipes that can easily be adapted to a specific low carb diet (ie, Atkins, South Beach, etc). Easy to read, with reference information at the front of the book if you haven't read anything about *why* to go on a low-carb diet.
