This was a typical Stone Barrington novel, with every woman he meets wanting to have sex with him. I'm not sure if Stuart Woods is running out of ideas or just getting lazy and churning out the same old, same old. The plot was not very interesting and some parts rather hazy and not written very clearly. After reading it, I still don't know why certain things occurred. I'm glad I didn't purchase the book because if you are thinking of buying it, I say save your money and wait until you can trade for it or get it at the library. This is not one of Stuart Woods' better works. I am begin generous with a 3 star rating.

I was disappointed in this Stone Barrington book. It was the same theme; Stone falls for a beautiful lady and falls out of the relationship, Dolce is still after Stone, a short mystery of a Prime Minister and the British Secret Service, a couple of people killed and the partner relationship with Dino still continues.

Stone Barrington is another of Woods' character-driven series stars, and this series is worth reading. In this installment, Barrington leaves his New York digs for sunny Florida and what starts as an easy, no-brainer favor for a client turns into a race to keep a man alive. The bad guy is a real surprise!

I liked this book. It was another typical Stone Barrington book. Much better than Hot Mahogany. I enjoyed the Herbie Fischer storyline and Felicity always brings a little class to the story. It is worth the read. I do believe Dino may be my favorite character and once again he doesn't disappoint.

I always feel (at least since Woods turned 70) that he forgets to write half the story, he seems to expect us to know the settings.
