This was funny and so was the mother. It's amazing her daughter isn't more neurotic.
Aspiring actress Stacy Reiser goes two hollywood for her big break and to get away from her mother. Her mother follows her, moves in a nicer apartment down the street, stumbles into a lucrative acting gig and gets a rich boyfriend.

from the book: I loved my mother, really I did. but there was times when she drove me nuts. And I don't mean nuts as in she aggravated me. I mean nuts as in she made the tiny vein in my left eyelid twitch.

This was a cute summer read, great to take to the beach. The book was centered around a mother-daughter relationship that was easy to relate to.
