This is a fast moving mystery. Shifts from present day to 3 years ago to 18 months ago. At first it was a little distracting, but it didn't take long before I was immersed in the case of the Missing Killer.

Years ago, the Missing Killer was so named because no one ever found the bodies of young girls until they showed up a year or so late ... dead. The killer was caught and killed and his accomplice put away.

Present day ... 3 cops intertwined in 2 separate cases, which dovetail into one. The bodies of young girls ..and their babies... are now being found. So maybe the Missing Killer wasn't caught???

This is a new author to me, second of three in a series. Lots of back and forth, as I previously mentioned, lots of personal back story of the three cops. It was entertaining, several twists. But I was actually more enthralled with the personal lives and how they interacted.
