Reading level 2 book meant for 1st through 3rd graders. Filled with factual information and full-page illustrations. The 48 pages have full-page large text, a glossary to define bolded words of the text such as boreal forest, chickadee, den, pounce, spruce grouse, and stalk, additional facts about lynxes and other types of animals that live in the same habitat. Overall, a great book to read-out-loud, for an older reader to read to a younger child, or for practicing reading skills. It even has chapters.
