Okay, so I absolutely LOVED this book. I thought the writing was clever, the dialogue funny, the plot convincing and the sex scenes amazing. MacLaren was the ultimate hero. Manly, virile, gorgeous and with a sexual appetite the size of Texas, he radiated sensuality, confidence and self-assuredness while underneath he hid a body scarred with wounds from war - compounded by an insecurity about the way his virgin captive would react when she saw them. Yet the lovemaking was so sweet! And so very, very HOT! I was practically drooling. I don't know if I've said enough about the plot to be helpful, but this is an awesome book. If you want to read something that will make you tear with its endearing, bitter-sweet dialogue, and make you get goosebumps during its passionate sex scenes, then you'll definately love this book.
