Macaroni and cheese
4 talb. butter
4 talb. flour
one cup milk
2 cups chicken broth
1 pinch dry mustard
one splash hot pepper sauce
splash worcestershire sauce
salt n ppr
topping:
one cup fresh bread crumbs
1/4 lb. finely grated parmesan
1 talb. seasoning salt
molten cheese sauce:
8 one inch cubes velveeta cheese
1/4 lb. finely grated parmesan
mix for macaroni and cheese sauce
one lb. elbow macaroni
3/4 lb. sharp yellow cheddar
1/2 lb. gruyere
1/2 lb. extra sharp cheddar sauce
4 roma tomatoes
24 one inch cubes velveeta cubes
cook base till thick and cool before using
I use velveeta and sharp cheddar in mine to simplify this recipe. In a pinch colby has worked for me too.
