Any Billie Letts fan?  Have you read Made in the USA?  I finished it tonight and loved it.  She sure knows how to pull on your emotions, make you feel like nothing could go right for the characters, and then work hope into the plot.

The first 200 or so page of this one are very emotional.  It made me feel a little depressed.  The orphans Lutie and Fate living out on the streets of Las Vegas just gnaw at you.  Then somehow at the end the book made me smile.

I don't want to give away too much of the plot, so I'll just say it's another well done story.

Glad to hear her new one is another winner. She has become a favorite of my book club. To find one author we "all" enjoy is a rarity! Guess we have a lot of diverse taste but it does make for some lively discussions sometimes.

Sheila, that's great!  I rarely like authors.  Usually, I like one or two books, then I get bored or the author disappoints me.  I've read 4 books by Letts and have enjoyed them all.  Has your book club read this one yet?
