Pardon my first "gem" posting, but I thought the cover on this "gem" was so cheesy that many might pass it by ...

Thanks! I bought this about a month ago, as an impulse buy, and I haven't gotten around to it (too many PBS books incoming and books to read so I can swap them, LOL), so your review is great motivation. Although it sounds like this will be a keeper not a swapper!

Did it have 14 wishes before you posted here?  Or was that the sole effect of your posting this GEM?    

Heh, I appreciate the implied flattery, but it had 13 wishes before I posted here :-)  And, much as I loved it, I will post it, since ... that's (for this librarian) the best thing to do with good books -- share them and wait for the next book due out in 2008.
