Another book by the Castle Perilous series author. "Cross the borders of reality into a new dimension: a computer-generated nightmare you'll never forget!" Every bit as good as his others.

This is an interesting story, melding magic with computer technology creating, at times, an alternate universe. It has it's amusing moments along with moments of horror. I found myself rooting for the English Professor who's computer skills are barely classified as "basic". Even so, he finds himself in the middle of a bizarre scheme to reprogram the universe. It kept my attention throughout the book, wondering what would happen to this poor hapless Professor, and how he could possibly be the one to stop the inevitable.
The story is categorized as "Fantasy", but I would put it into the Fantasy/Horror category.

Schuyler "Sky" King's life took a turn for the truly bizarre the night he heard a demon destroying a friend on the telephone. and now the cynical and somewhat inept English professor finds himself unwittingly hooked onto MagicNet.
