I wanted to like this book, like the others in the series the female lead is very annoying. Gillian's constant chip on the shoulder about being the servant daughter was just too annoying. I almost couldn't finish it but I wanted to know what revelations would be revealed and it was heart wrenching to read Dev's pain.

This short, sexy romance is fun because you get to see the unassuming teacher take on the handsome, wealthy, charming hero and he doesn't know what hit him. There is also a more serious element to her emotional rescuing of him, but I don't want to give away a spoiler. It's part of the Men of Wolff Mountain series.
