Excellent Beginner Book. Great Pictures and Directions.

thorough and easy to understand
This was my first quilting book and is still my go-to pattern. Excellent for beginners because it outlines exactly what tools you need to get started. Lots of pictures. You won't finish a quilt in a day, but using the instructions in this book, you will be able to finish happily.
