This is a wonderful book to start children in the world of Computer languages. They create a webpage learning HTML and basic. This may be outdated but it is the first step in learning computer languages for later steps in the tree of computer step stones.
My 10 y/o took it upon himself to learn web design. He read the book and implemented the assignments and is currently working on his own Pokemon Fansite.
