First I cant believe that so far to date there is not a single review of this third book in the series. Second, I wish I had not put this book off so long to read. I enjoyed this book and loved the mystery. Kate is a size 16, I think she said she weighs 172 pounds. Now she has to do a tv series on fat scams in a bikini. Of course she is worried. Then a friend from book one comes back into her life and gets murdered. I barely remember her from book one.
I read this real fast, loved every minute of it, and enjoyed the ending. I gave it a 4 for a cozy.
When I read Cozies, I think of my friend here on PBS Jack or my mother, and I ask myself would they feel comfortable reading these statements about sex or gory details. Only once did I cringe, that this might cross the cozy line. Overall very mild in all areas.
When is the next book coming out? This was 2009.

This was really a quick, entertaining read and most enjoyable. I enjoyed the characters. The murderer seemed a way too much believable, but I did finish it and did enjoy it! I give the author great credit for writing about heavier people and bringing them into this type of story! The make-up tips got to be a pain in the butt, but a few of them were worth reading so..just enjoy!

I liked this book a lot actually, probably my favorite of the series....which apparently ended right after this book for some reason. I liked the main character and the investigation. Good final scene when the killer is revealed.
