A very informative writer. He explains reasons for strategy based on levels of technology, and describes everything generally so it makes sense. He gets off sometimes on the traditions of various regiments (I think that's a Brit thing). According to him, the deciding battle of the American Revolutionary War was Bemis Heights, who'd of thought that?
