Possibly some of the worst writing I've ever read. The sex scenes, though explict, left me cold. This sounds like something a precocious teenager would write - overly dramatic, corny, with a happy/sappy ending. Yuk.

Making Him Want It made me want it. I had never heard of Renee Luke until I stumbled across this book and the title immediately caught my attention. In this story, Kat is an undercover erotica author who goes through a bit of a dry spell and decides to venture a little ways out of her comfort zone for a little inspiration by going out to a bar and having a one-night stand. The one-night stand she has is beyond electric, but there's trouble. Her one-night stand is Jamal, her agent whom she's never seen face to face. Neither of them immediately know the other, but after Jamal reads the stories and realizes that they're based on his real-life experiences, he figures out that Kat was the sexy seductress he met at the night club. Kat and Jamal feel such a strong attraction to one another, yet Kat believes that Jamal is unaware of her true identity and wants to remain anonymous while Jamal wants to get to know her in every way possible. The problem is that their hearts began to conflict with anonymity.

The sex scenes are very hot and the chemistry between Kat and Jamal is so tight and somewhat overpowering, but in a very good way. I actually found myself becoming a little emotionally involved. The story itself goes beyond erotica and romance, but delves a little into a character study with Kat. Four stars for this page-turner.
