I do not know how Alex Dally MacFarlane came to edit anything but this editor should find another job. the stories in this book run from horror to scifi and all over the map. several of the stories are so hard to follow you have to stop reasding them. one is not even a story.I don't even think it qualifies as a poem. there are a few stories in the book worth reading but if i based science fiction by women on this book I would only read works by men.there are alot of great female science fiction writers out there. this book should be recalled and distroyed before it does any more damage. not even worth the paper they printed it on. I am a little more than half way through and i have to stop because it just upsets me at how bad it is.
