I am looking for some similar books to A Man Called Trent by Louis L'Amour.  I don't usually read a lot of westerns, but I loved this one and read it twice in the same year.  Any suggestions?

Carolyne,

Yes, that book was also called, or developed in to a book called Mountain Valley War by L'amour.  There are 2 other books that feature the same character.  One is called Kilkenny, and the other is called Rider of Lost Creek.

I have read most of L'amour's westerns, and if you tell me what specifically you liked about that one, I can recommend others that are similar.

My book featured 2 stories and I think (I guess I could go look) the one was called Kilkenny because it was about Lance Kilkenny.  That is the one that I really liked.  I am not sure what exactly I liked about it.  I think the lone hero and just how the book was written.  I will check out Rider of Lost Creek and any other suggestions you have would be most welcome.  Thanks.
