The book was very well written and interesting as far as it goes. The author is stuck in the 'Mainstream Medicine' version of treatment: surgery, radiation, or chemotherapy, and described his emotions and experiences very clearly. He did not seem aware of any other concepts regarding cancer causes or treatment, such as change of diet, supplements, or alternative health methods. One exception is one brief mention toward the end regarding diet, which is very important, as illness, including cancer, is epidemic in America due to the corresponding epidemic of junk and over-processed foods.
