Similar to all her Harlequin Presents novels. Strong male figure, slim, seemingly unattractive female and an ominous presence that might tear them apart. Definitely worth a read if you like Winspear's other books.

A crisis plunged her into turmoil.

Dominique had to set aside her plans to enter the convent when she heard the shocking news, her sister, Candy was partially paralyzed and needed her desperately.

Alarmed, she set out at once for Italy to be with her. But nursing Candy proved only part of the ordeal.

Presidio Romanos, her sister's in-law, presented an even greater challenge. Presidio roused desires in her she'd long since sacrificed--or so she thought.
