The Map written by David Murrow is his second book. His first book Why Men Hate Going to Church was a best seller. He and his wife Gina directs churches to connect with men and boys, this was taken from the back of the book.
In The Map David has got some puzzling e-mails and he follows up on these and goes on the spur of the moment to meet these people. He leaves a family in Alaska starts the trip that end in Greece and meets Gerasimos a Monk. Gerasimos takes his time in meeting with David and another man that had gotten the same messages.
Gerasimos puts them through some test, that are more like the parables that Jesus taught.
They were trying to find The Map that was thought to be an old parchment paper but what they found out was something entirely different. The Map was in the Bible and David was shown where in a basement of an old monastery.
This book The Map teaches about how Jesus walked and how men in our own day should follow Him.
Even though I am a woman I found The Map to be very interesting. It made me stop and think about what the entire book has to say and I will study the scriptures that are written and see if I can find The Map
