Excerpt: II. -- Mary The Mother Of God. " Mary the Mother of Jesus was just as human as any daughter of Eve." Generically speaking, no fault can be found with this assertion. There is no dispute whatever that Mary was human and mortal; that she was anything but divine; that she shared in none of the attributes of the Godhead. Specifically, that "she was just as human as any daughter of Eve," in so far that the Almighty did not endow her with more than ordinary purity and sanctity to be the Mother of His Divine Son, is expressly disproved by the words of Holy Writ. It was to Mary only and alone, in the entire history of the Revealed Word, that a heavenly ambassador was sent by God, delivering a message, announcing a destiny the like of which no daughter of Eve ever received before or since. "Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
