Well researched and written. Ends with some reason for hope, but overall the situation is bad and a self-perpetuating downward spiral: those who grew up in single parent households are least equipped to make good marriages, handicapping their children and so on.
The benefits of marriage are well stated and should be taught to high-schooled aged youth.
