This is classic Mary had a Little Lamb, so commenting on the actual poem is not really necessary. The poem is pretty much exactly as everyone remembers it, just without the repetitions. I enjoy bringing pictures in with nursery rhymes because it helps my daughter feel likes he is reading by singing along with the words. I like seeing that she is excited by books.

This version of Mary had a Little Lamb includes fun cartoonish drawings. I just love the lamb. The expressions on the lambs face are brilliant. Each color really stands out, so the white in the lamb doesn't get lost in the background. There is a picture of Mary and the lamb cuddling that my daughter loves. I think that means Santa needs to get a stuffed lamb for my little one to cuddle with.
