The book was great and the story was very intriguing but the book ended so abruptly I thought the book was missing pages.

This one is a pretty good book. I found the premise interesting and would rate it at four stars.

This book was terrifying and very difficult to put down. It had many elements of horror in it and kept my heart racing. However, I was very disappointed by the ending. There could have been many ways that Koontz ended the book, but the ending was sudden and flat. Overall a very good read and I recommend it to anybody who likes a good ghost story.

Creepy and suspenseful. A scene involving a showdown with a possessed cat is very well written. I felt like I was struggling with the cat and it had my heart racing. This is one of my very favorite Koontz books and I highly recommend it.

Ventage Dean Koonz. A couple adopts a beautiful child, but then nightmares begin; ghostly night sounds, a bloody face in the mirror, a sharp ax. Nice and scary.

I did enjoy THE MASK alot, this was a good eerie novel dealing with reincarnation, it seemed obvious in the beginning, but like any Koontz novel the obvious lies within the unobvious, and when we are finally allowed to look outside the box, we are shown a bigger picture than originally thought. I did enjoy the supernatural element, but The Mask did have a few flaws that kept it from greatness: One being, that Koontz, never really explains the supernatural element that was tipping off the main charactors; were the spirits good or bad? Also, the book ended too abruptly,It was wrapped up in 10 pages. We never know the fate of the charactors, did they live happily ever after? But over all I'll try to stay positive and The Mask is a good early novel for Koontz.

Is there life after death? Can a spirit be reborn to continue killing?

This is like a ghost story on a mystery show. A girl suddenly appearing out of nowhere with a spooky past that becomes a nightmare for a young caring couple trying to help.

this was not my favorite Koontz book. The writing was a little choppy and the ending abrupt. Good for a quick summer read or if you are a die hard fan.

This is yet another Dean Koontz book that I have not read myself, due to the fact that although he is said to be a great writer, I can not get into the books myself. Please enjoy. Aagin I rate this 50/50 in all fairness

SUCH A PRETTY FACE
So young, so sweet. She appeared out of nowhere, in the middle of traffic, on a busy day. A teenager with no past, no family-no memories.

SUCH A LOVELY CHILD
So blond and beautiful. Carol and Paul were drawn to her- she was the child they'd never had. A dream come true. And then carol's nightmares began-the ghastly sounds in the night... the bloody face in the mirror.... the razor sharp ax.

SUCH RELENTLESS EVIL
So deceptively innocent. Most mothers would DIE for such a darling little angel. And that's what frightened Carol most of all...
