Wow! What a good book. A vampire under the influence of a powerful drug without his knowledge. Although the drug makes him finally do something that he's been wanting to do for a long time which is be with his assistant. There is really hot man-love and how their relationship grows even while they are investigating a murder. I can't wait to read the next in the series. This is one of those that could easily be put on a keeper shelf.
