I bought this book when my kids were in elementary school. We had what seemed like a zillion books around the house and a struggling reader. It helped with giving me an idea of what books to suggest and to have out. I found that I read a higher level to them, we worked at their level or a bit above when they were reading to me, and put the easier reads by their bed to read before sleeping.
