Kids are always complaining that they have to learn things they won't use. They can't say it about this book. It is filled with Math lessons and problems to work they will need everyday as adults. It covers Shopping, earning money, Determing paint, carpet, etc needed for a home, price comparison for wise money spending, banking, planning trips, computing taxes, buying insurance, buying on credit, and Budgeting, with many other applications under each of those groups.
A very useful math book that actually prepares them for the future.
