I loved it. Read it in 1 day. I am an avid fan of the Cowboy series. This one is by far the best after the first "JAKE" They all are wonderful but I really enjoyed this one.

Matt's rough-and-tumble childhood taught him to size up a situation at a hundred paces. And to end his standoff with respectable society he knows he has to take a wife. Ellen agrees to act as a mother for the two boys he's sworn to protect, if he will be a father for the two children she brings to the union. It is a business arrangement. But nothing has prepared him for the desires the former saloon girl incites. She gentles him like a newborn colt, until he longs to be saddled with all the trappings of a real marriage. Until he understands he's found a woman to heal his orphaned heart.

Matt is another of Leigh Greenwood's Cowboy Series and is just as good as the others. Matt and Ellen enter into and agreement to join together to care for Ellen's two children and two boys Matt has sworn to protect. The "business arrangement" turns out to a real marriage.

Another good job by Leigh Greenwood! The strong, silent, suffering inside hero. The woman who has learned not to trust men. Add some orphans and you've got a story.
