This is about on person's journey through critical illness. While interesting, I would love to see it expanded to more than just a memoir. He could have talked to other people that have been through similar situations. He could of talked about the the nursing shortage. He could of expanded on the problem of anti-biotic resistant infections in hospitals. Including more contact would greatly expand the impact of his narrative.
