  To mean what I say
Itís the only way I know
Thoughts flow
True like clear water
Dribbling, dabbling brooks
Clear to the bottom
Treasure, Pebbles of my mind wet
glisten from the sweat
of my thoughts as they process
Vulnerable, uncovered for all to see
With the mist of mystery
Floating above this stream
Touching the edge of this
Clear water
It never more than broods
Over its surface
Never delves beneath this
Strong moving force
They meet for a moment
Then separate
One winning over another
Like flaming fire
And a thin gush of water
I wish for moments
For this stream to be
A muddy, dark mysterious thing
And wonder what fruits
What sustenance a
murky thing like this might have
I envy the spiraled colors
The entrancing mist that rises
From its childbirth
And look back to
This clear dabbling stream
Settling in its comfort
to mean what I say
Is the only way I know
